Community and Economic Development

The Thorntown Community Development Department is responsible for overseeing the growth and preservation of The Town of Thorntown and enahncing the quality of place for residents and visitors. This department is responsible for developing long-term strategies to ensure the town is economically and socially susstainable for the next 100 years. In addition, the Community Development Department is also responsible for community events, and promoting and attracting area business.
