Public Hearing - Plan Commission
The Special Meeting of the Thorntown Advisory Plan Commission scheduled for January 26, 2026 was postponed to February 2. The Special Meeting was called to hold a Public Hearing concerning a recommendation to Town Council to adopt both the text and the map for the new UDO. Members of the public were invited to attend and offer comments. You may also send comments in advance of the meeting to the Planning Administrator at planning@thorntown.in.gov.

Plan Commission did not vote to certify a favorable recommendation at this meeting, but they did certify a favorable recommendation at their regular meeting on February 9.
Public Hearing - Town Council
Town Council held a Public Hearing to consider adoption of the UDO on March 2, 2026 at 7:00pm. Town Council voted to continue discussion of the proposal to the April 20, 2026 meeting at 7:00pm. At the April 20th meeting, Town Council voted to hold a special meeting on April 27th at 7:00pm to workshop the UDO.
