NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SCHEDULE OF RATES AND CHARGES
**THE PUBLIC HEARING ON ORDINANCE NO. 2025-5 ON OCTOBER 20, 2025 WAS ADJOURNED AND WILL BE HELD AGAIN ON NOVEMBER 3, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. AT THE THORNTOWN MUNICIPAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 101 WEST MAIN STREET, THORNTOWN, INDIANA 46071**
Property owners, ratepayers and other interested parties in or served by the Town of Thorntown Waterworks Utility (the “Utility”), are hereby notified that Ordinance No. 2025-5 amending and restating certain rates and charges for service supplied by the Waterworks of the Town of Thorntown was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council held on October 6, 2025. At a meeting of the Thorntown Town Council on October 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thorntown Municipal Building located at 101 West Main Street, Thorntown, Indiana 46071, the Town Council held a public hearing on Ordinance 2025-5. The public hearing was adjourned and will be held again at a meeting of the Thorntown Town Council on November 3, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thorntown Municipal Building located at 101 West Main Street, Thorntown, Indiana 46071. The purpose of the hearing is to consider modifications in the monthly water rates for users of the Town of Thorntown Waterworks Utility. At the hearing, interested persons may be heard concerning the water rates and charges established by Ordinance No. 2025-5 of the Town Council.
